The Phil & Teds Optimum is the only convertible car seat that is travel system compatible. Transfer the Optimum from car to buggy while your baby sleeps.

Click & Go Infant Mode: on infant mode, the rear facing Optimum is secured in place with a click in base making it a breeze to transfer your baby to and from the car. The base has a floor stabilising leg and vehicle seat belt to secure. The Optimum is also safety certified for use without the base, using the vehicle seat belt to secure.

This is the worst car seat I have ever used. The infant seat is to up right and so we had to purchase another car seat for our new born. The rear facing seat is gain to upright and so my sons feet go up the back of the chair. The so called no slip straps slip off all the time. Biggest waste of money. Looking now for another car seat. :(

its very hard to install in the car. In baby mode the seat is very upright and isnt very good for a new baby. not sure it will last long rear facing either.

Extremely unhappy with my purchase. Same problems as the other reviewers, I found this car seat sits far too upright for a little baby and despite adjusting and tightening the straps, my little girl would slump forward when trying to sleep in it. I've had it for three months and am now having to buy a brand new car seat. On the positives, we found it easy enough to install and I really liked the click and go feature.
