The Freerider is an ingenious design – a simple concept, offering dual functionality that transforms a buggy board into a scooter in seconds (no tools required)!
The perfect solution for families with two young children, simply attach the Freerider to the back of your Mountain Buggy and your toddler can glide along on the board, staying close to you. Perfect for long outings when your toddler becomes too tired to walk, or in crowds and high traffic areas.
As your toddler gets older and more active, the clever Freerider converts to a high quality scooter for scoot along fun!
The Freerider includes a connector compatible with the entire Mountain Buggy range - Swift, Urban Jungle, Terrain, +one and Duo. Most of Mountain Buggy's earlier models - Swift, Urban, Urban Elite, Double Urban – are also compatible, but the early Breeze and Terrain models are not.

![]() | I recently bought the Mountain Buggy Freerider to attach to my 2009 Urban Mountain Buggy. It is really poorly designed and quite dangerous (the actual rider scooter is well made, though). I have a 4 month old baby and a 2 year old daughter. Because of the way it's designed, I constantly have to watch where I place my feet, in order to avoid stepping on the back of the board. The only time that I don't need to look down is going up hills. The board is way too long and gets in the way of walking. Going down hills is awful and I've almost had a run away stroller. The board also pulls the stroller up in the front, so at times the baby is riding on the 2 back wheels only. I have tried this out 3 times and am really frustrated that I bought this particular ride along board. I have loved everything about my mountain buggy stroller, so I thought that this would be equally great. Rats! Molly, Vancouver |
![]() | These are great. My toddler loves it! Great that it can fit other buggies as well so we can swap it easily to another stroller. Only down side is it doesn't turn very eailsy when being used as a scooter. Everyone asks us about it when we are out. A great way to get two children around town (and country). Anna, |
