Whether your baby is awake or sound asleep, the Angelcare Sound & Movement monitor will detect all of your baby’s movements – even the slightest breathing movements. It combines a quality sound monitor and a movement monitor into a single digital system to give you the peace of mind you need to get the rest you need.


The versatile monitor functions can be tailored to suit your needs: The Parent Unit can be either sound activated or set with continuous sound transmission. There are 4 modes available: movement & sound with tic, movement & sound without tic, movement only or sound only.

The Parent Unit operates on rechargeable NiCad batteries (included) for longer battery life, or AC adaptor. The Nursery Unit operates on AC adaptor or 4x AAA batteries for battery back up (not included). In case of power failure, both units will automatically convert to battery use. When batteries are low, a low battery indicator will display.

Each set includes 2 sensor pads. The 2 Parent Unit option is useful when multiple carers are looking after baby. It also allows you to leave one uni in the bedroom and the second in the room that you are in.

Fantastic! This baby monitor is by far the best thing we purchased for our first baby. After plenty of research we decided on the Angelcare, mostly because of its movement monitoring capabilities. I love that I can go to bed at night and sleep well knowing that my little girl is fine. No middle of the night checks! I can also go about my daily jobs while she naps and I don't have to risk interrupting her sleep to check on her! I have used the monitor (with the movement pads) in the bassinet, cot and portacot with no problems. I also like that you can use the monitor as a standard sound only baby monitor without the pads attached – great for overnight trips. Emma, Waikato
