Lovely, just like the traditional ones. I use it as a changing pad and somewhere for baby to lie in the lounge when I'm doing pilates. We've also used it in the stroller. We've only had it for awhile but I am quite sure from the quality of it that it will last for years, serving both my babies and probably then the cat's basket!
